Gurmet is an accomplished filmmaker in Ladakh and has worked for several NGOs and international companies such as National Geographic, Aljazeera, and General Electric. His short film Monk Dreams had an award at the 10th Annual My Hero International Film Festival in Los Angeles, America.
Prof Datuk Seri Dr Victor Wee
Dr. Victor Wee is a professor at Taylors University and Secretary-General of ASEAN Tourism Research Association. He has been involved in consultancy assignments for the United Nations World Tourism Organisation and held a distinguished civil service career in Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Bristol and an M.A in Sociology from Brown University.
Kosta Miachin is the founder of Vikasa Yoga in Thailand. His passion for yoga blossomed in 2004 when he set out on his own journey of self- discovery and has taken him to the far reaches of the world. Kosta has undergone extensive training and was certified with five different schools: Yoga 23, Sivananda Yoga, Mysore Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Andiappan Yoga and Universal Yoga, and maintains close ties to many other yoga schools around the world.
Ven. Bhante Sanghasena
Born in the Himalayas and a disciple of Ven. Acharya Buddharakkhita, Bhante Sanghasena is the founder of Mahabodhi International Meditation Center (MIMC). For 30 years, Bhante has selflessly and tirelessly worked to provide education, healthcare, and infrastructure for the marginalized community in remote areas of Ladakh.
A registered E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, Jason Milne is an inspiring Yoga teacher who’s been teaching for almost a decade now. Prior to that, he’s was a high school teacher in the states for 5 years, and later on found his meaning of life in yoga. Currently, he is the lead teacher for various yoga teacher training courses and teaches various workshops, retreats and regular classes around the world.
Megumi Okubo is a graduate and trainer of clinical practices from the Japan Shiatsu College. She is also a board member of the Shiatsu Society of Japan and runs her own clinic “Megumi Shiatsu Clinic” in Tokyo for people who are looking for authentic Shiatsu therapy. She believes that Shiatsu is one of the most natural and traditional therapies to strengthen one’s healing ability. Besides Shiatsu massage, she is also a medical lymph drainage therapist.
Jade grew up in Canada and has been studying ancestral medicine, yoga, traditional ceremonies, massage, forest meditation, tea ceremony and holistic bodywork. She is an international teacher and is certified in many fields mentioned above. She recently started a tea business called WAOTEA and sells organic herbal tea worldwide.
